SHORT MESSAGE
(SKL no. 3)

I. RANGKUMAN MATERI

Short Message merupakan teks fungsional yang muncul dalam UN, termasuk SKL UN no.3.
Short Message adalah text yang berisi pesan pendek. Pesan Pendek dapat dibagi
menjadi 3 jenis:

1. Short Message : Pesan Pendek, yang bentuknya seperti surat, tetapi tidak ada pembukaan dan penutupan. Isi dan kalimatnya sangat singkat berisi pokok/inti pesan.
Biasanya Short Message ini bersifat pribadi /private/personal.

Contoh Short Message:

To: Juan
Hi…How R U Juan? Could U come to my house to do our assignment of Math? I’ll wait you at 7 pm. Call me if U can’t come. Tks.

2. Memo : Pesan pendek yang bentuknya agak berbeda dengan pesan
pendek, meskipun memo juga berisi pesan yang kalimatnya
singkat. Biasanya memo digunakan dalam urusan pekerjaan atau
kedinasan.

3. SMS ( Short Message Services) : Pesan pendek yang dikirim melalui Telephon sellular, sehingga dalam pesan tersebut muncul nama/nomor telpon pengirim dan waktu pengiriman.

HUKUM MAHAR DALAM PERNIKAHAN ISLAMI

Asalamu 'alaikum Wr. Wb.

Pak Ustadz, saya ingin menanyakan beberapa hal :

Hukum "Mas Kawin" dari seorang mempelai pria kepada mempelai wanita dalam pernikahan islam.



Bagaimana menurut Islam, jika untuk pemberian mas kawin tersebut, mempelai wanita ikut membantu dananya.



Jika saya ingin memperoleh buku yang isinya mengupas tuntas tentang hukum mas kawin/mahar dalam pernikahan islam, apak pak Ustadz dapat mereferensikan judul buku tersebut kepada saya?

Jawaban:

Assalamu 'alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Alhamdulilahi Rabbil 'alamin, wash-shalatu was-salamu 'alaa Sayyidina Muhammadin wa 'alaa aalihi wa shahbihihi ajma'in, wa ba'du.



Salah satu bentuk pemuliaan Islam kepada seorang wanita adalah pemberian mahar atau maskawin pada saat menikahinya. Mahar adalah harta yang diberikan pihak calon suami kepada calon istrinya untuk dimiliki sebagai penghalal hubungan mereka. Perintah untuk memberikan mahar disebutkan di dalam Al-Quran Al-Kariem :

"Berikanlah maskawin kepada wanita sebagai pemberian dengan penuh kerelaan. Kemudian jika mereka menyerahkan kepada kamu sebagian dari maskawin itu dengan senang hati, maka makanlah pemberian itu yang sedap lagi baik akibatnya".(QS. An-Nisa : 4)

"Dan jika kamu ingin mengganti isterimu dengan isteri yang lain, sedang kamu telah memberikan kepada seseorang di antara mereka harta yang banyak, maka janganlah kamu mengambil kembali dari padanya barang sedikit pun. Apakah kamu akan mengambilnya kembali dengan jalan tuduhan yang dusta dan dengan dosa yang nyata?" (QS. An-Nisa : 20)

Pemberian mahar akan memberikan pengaruh besar pada tingkat keqowaman suami atas istri. Juga akan menguatkan hubungan pernikahan itu yang pada gilirannya akan melahirkan sakinah, mawadah dan rahmah.

Sebagaimana firman Allah SWT berikut ini :

"Kaum laki-laki itu adalah pemimpin bagi kaum wanita, oleh karena Allah telah melebihkan sebahagian mereka atas sebahagian yang lain dan karena mereka telah menafkahkan sebagian dari harta mereka. Sebab itu maka wanita yang saleh, ialah yang ta'at kepada Allah lagi memelihara diri ketika suaminya tidak ada, oleh karena Allah telah memelihara. Wanita-wanita yang kamu khawatirkan nusyuznya, maka nasehatilah mereka dan pisahkanlah mereka di tempat tidur mereka, dan pukullah mereka. Kemudian jika mereka mentaatimu, maka janganlah kamu mencari-cari jalan untuk menyusahkannya. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Tinggi lagi Maha Besar. (QS. An-Nisa : 34)



Pihak Wanita Membantu Memberikan Mahar

Sebenarnya tidak perlu pihak wanita membantu memberikan mahar kepada calon suaminya. Sebab ujung-ujungnya mahar itu akan kembali dimiliki oleh sang istri. Cukuplah bagi wanita itu untuk memberikan patokan mahar yang tidak terlalu memberatkan calon suaminya.

Secara fiqhiyah, kalangan Al- Hanafiyah berpendapat bahwa minimal mahar itu adalah 10 dirham. Sedangkan Al-Malikiyah mengatakan bahwa minimal mahar itu 3 dirham. Meskipun demikian sebagian ulama mengatakan tidak ada batas minimal dengan mahar. Dan bila dicermati secara umum, nash-nash hadits telah datang kepada kita dengan gambaran yang seolah tidak mempedulikan batas minimal mahar dan juga tidak batas maksimalnya. Barangkali karena kenyataannya bahwa manusia itu berbeda-beda tingkat ekonominya, sebagian dari mereka kaya dan sebagian besar miskin. Ada orang mempunyai harta melebihi kebutuhan hidupnya dan sebaliknya ada juga yang tidak mampu memenuhinya.

Maka berapakah harga mahar yang harus dibayarkan seorang calon suami kepada calon istrinya sangat ditentukan dari kemampuannya atau kondisi ekonominya.

Banyak sekali nash syariah yang memberi isyarat tentang tidak ada batasnya minimal nilai mahar dalam bentuk nominal. Kecuali hanya menyebutkan bahwa mahar haruslah sesuatu yang punya nilai tanpa melihat besar dan kecilnya. Maka Islam membolehkan mahar dalam bentuk cincin dari besi, sebutir korma, jasa mengajarkan bacaan Al-Quran atau yang sejenisnya. Yang penting kedua belah pihak ridha dan rela atas mahar itu.

a. Sepasang Sendal

Dari Amir bin Robi'ah bahwa seorang wanita dari bani Fazarah menikah dengan mas kawin sepasang sendal. Lalu Rasulullah SAW bertanya, "Relakah kau dinikahi jiwa dan hartamu dengan sepasang sendal ini?". Dia menjawab," Rela". Maka Rasulullahpun membolehkannya (HR. Ahmad 3/445, Tirmidzi 113, Ibnu madjah 1888).

b. Hafalan Quran :

Dari Sahal bin Sa'ad bahwa nabi SAW didatangi seorang wanita yang berkata,"Ya Rasulullah kuserahkan diriku untukmu", Wanita itu berdiri lama lalu berdirilah seorang laki-laki yang berkata," Ya Rasulullah kawinkan dengan aku saja jika kamu tidak ingin menikahinya". Rasulullah berkata," Punyakah kamu sesuatu untuk dijadikan mahar? dia berkata, "Tidak kecuali hanya sarungku ini" Nabi menjawab, "bila kau berikan sarungmu itu maka kau tidak akan punya sarung lagi, carilah sesuatu". Dia berkata, "Aku tidak mendapatkan sesuatupun". Rasulullah berkata, "Carilah walau cincin dari besi". Dia mencarinya lagi dan tidak juga mendapatkan apa-apa. Lalu Nabi berkata lagi, "Apakah kamu menghafal Al-Quran?". Dia menjawab, "Ya surat ini dan itu" sambil menyebutkan surat yang dihafalnya. Berkatalah Nabi, "Aku telah menikahkan kalian berdua dengan mahar hafalan Al-Quranmu" (HR Bukhori Muslim).

c. Tidak Dalam Bentuk Apa-apa :

Bahkan diriwayatkan bahwa ada seorang wanita rela tidak mendapatkan mahar dalam bentuk benda atau jasa yang bisa dimiliki. Cukup baginya suaminya yang tadinya masih non muslim itu untuk masuk Islam, lalu waita itu rela dinikahi tanpa pemberian apa-apa. Atau dengan kata lain, keIslamanannya itu menjadi mahar untuknya.

Dari Anas bahwa Aba Tholhah meminang Ummu Sulaim lalu Ummu Sulaim berkata, "Demi Allah, lelaki sepertimu tidak mungkin ditolak lamarannya, sayangnya kamu kafir sedangkan saya muslimah. Tidak halal bagiku untuk menikah denganmu. Tapi kalau kamu masuk Islam, keislamanmu bisa menjadi mahar untukku. Aku tidak akan menuntut lainnya". Maka jadilah keislaman Abu Tholhah sebagai mahar dalam pernikahannya itu. (HR Nasa'i 6/ 114).

Semua hadist tadi menunjukkan bahwa boleh hukumnya mahar itu sesuatu yang murah atau dalam bentuk jasa yang bermanfaat.

Demikian pula dalam batas maksimal tidak ada batasannya sehingga seorang wanita juga berhak untuk meminta mahar yang tinggi dan mahal jika memang itu kehendaknya. Tak seorangpun yang berhak menghalangi keinginan wanita itu bila dia menginginkan mahar yang mahal.

Bahkan ketika Umar Bin Khattab r.a berinisiatif memberikan batas maksimal untuk masalah mahar saat beliau bicara diatas mimbar. Beliau menyebutkan maksimal mahar itu adalah 400 dirham. Namun segera saja dia menerima protes dari para wanita dan memperingatkannya dengan sebuah ayat Al-Quran. Sehingga Umar pun tersentak kaget dan berkata, "Allahumma afwan, ternyata orang -orang lebih faqih dari Umar". Kemudian Umar kembali naik mimbar, "Sebelumnya aku melarang kalian untuk menerima mahar lebih dari 400 dirham, sekarang silahkan lakukan sekehendak anda".

I. RANGKUMAN MATERI

Notice/caution: adalah salah satu text fungsional yang berupa petunjuk agar seseorang melakukan atau tidak melakukan sesuatu. Notice/caution ini dapat berupa phrasa (gabungan kata), clausa (kalimat), atau berupa gambar/tanda/sign.

Warning: Larangan agar supaya seseorang tidak melakukan hal tersebut karena dianggap sangat berbahaya. Jadi, warning hampir sama seperti notice tapi tingkat bahayanya lebih tinggi dari notice. Sehingga larangannya bersifat lebih keras.

Soal yang biasanya muncul dalam notice/caution:

Notice/caution menurut maknanya pada dasarnya dibagi menjadi dua jenis:
1. Notice yang berupa arahan atau petunjuk.
Notice ini bisa berupa kalimat perintah, ajakan, nasehat, arahan atau petunjuk. Bisa juga berupa gambar/sign/tanda tertentu.
Seperti: Be silent. SLIPPERY ROAD, BE CAREFUL
Contoh notice arahan yang berupa gambar

2. Notice yang berupa larangan.
Notice ini berupa kalimat larangan, (No, Don’t, Never), atau berupa gambar/tanda/sign yang diberi tanda garis miring atau tanda silang (crossing).
Misalnya : Don’t be noisy, No parking, never speak up.
Contoh notice larangan yang berupa gambar.




Meaning of the notice:

a. Jika notice tersebut berupa arahan, maka maknanya akan identik dengan
kalimat-kalimat yang mengandung makna:
